Stuffed Mushroom Dip

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped mushrooms until they release their moisture and become golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir in the cooked mushrooms and garlic until well combined.
  6. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
