Ingredients:

• 1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box – typically eggs, oil, and water)
• 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
• 1 (12 oz) jar caramel sauce (halal-friendly or homemade)
• 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
• Optional: crushed toffee bits or chocolate shavings

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven and prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
2. Once baked, let the cake cool for 5–10 minutes. Then poke holes all over the cake using the handle of a wooden spoon or a straw.
3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, allowing it to soak into the holes.
4. Pour caramel sauce on top of that, spreading it evenly across the cake.
5. Let the cake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours (or overnight for best flavor).
6. Spread whipped topping over the chilled cake.
7. Sprinkle chocolate chips or chunks on top. Add toffee bits or chocolate shavings if desired.
8. Slice, serve cold, and get ready for compliments!
