Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Fudge Layer:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

Instructions:

  1. Make the Crust:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8 minutes, then cool.

  2. Prepare the Fudge Layer:
    In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in flour. Spread over the cooled crust. Bake for 15 minutes and let cool completely.

  3. Add the Pudding Layer:
    Whisk pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Spread over the fudge layer.

  4. Top with Whipped Cream:
    Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the pudding layer.

  5. Garnish and Chill:
    Sprinkle with chocolate chunks or curls. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before slicing and serving.
