Crispy Honey BBQ Chicken Tenders with French Fries

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 cups French fries (store-bought or homemade)

Directions:

  1. Marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken tenders in the seasoned flour, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Fry the chicken tenders in batches for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. In a small saucepan, heat the BBQ sauce and honey over low heat until combined and warm.
